Yes! For bookings, itinerary, tips, and support, you may contact IMI’s trusted travel partners who can assist with flight options:
Almost all travelers must have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and a valid Iraqi E-visa/visa in advance. Iraqi citizens (with valid documentation) do not need visas. There are no longer visas on arrival for citizens of the US, Canada, most of Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
For those booking packages and visas through IMI, you’ll be asked to upload your passport scan, photo, and travel details using the IMI Travel & Visa Form (sent after registration). Additional guidance for supporting documents is available on the Travel & Visa page.
Yes, but availability is extremely limited and must be confirmed prior to booking. The single room supplement is about $500 USD extra for the full package duration.
Submit your presentation topic or abstract, along with your CV, by November 1, 2025, to: academiccounciljmi@gmail.com.
Poster submission guidelines are also available on the conference website. Accepted presenters will receive confirmation by November 25, 2025.
Unfortunately, packages cannot be held without a confirmed conference registration. Each hotel and ziyarat package must be linked to at least one primary conference registrant. Once the main registrant signs up, family members or companions may be added under their profile.
IMI welcomes volunteers from Iraq and abroad to help with logistics, guest services, and conference coordination. To express interest, email conferences@imamiamedics.com with the subject line “Volunteer – Karbala Conference.”
