COVID-19 Protocols
Coronavirus protocols will be implemented throughout the convention for all exhibitors/attendees in accordance with guidelines recommended by the CDC, state/local health officials, and IMI’s COVID-19 Taskforce.
Event organizers will continue to assess current conditions and adjust protocols to ensure optimal safety conditions for all exhibitors/attendees. IMI may cancel/postpone this event, if necessary, without any notice and exhibitors cannot claim for any damages due to this inconvenience. IMI reserves the right to determine whether an exhibitor and/or any person in attendance that is deemed to be in violation of COVID guidelines should be isolated/evacuated from the convention center/hotel. Conference organizers are monitoring and reviewing all Canada and US travel restrictions for now.
Attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test within 48 hours of the start of the conference. Those who are not vaccinated due to any reason, including age or any health restrictions,will be required to provide negative PCR test results within 48 hours of the start of conference.
Conference Attendees will be asked screening questions at the time of registration. Masks will be worn during the conference indoors.
As for COVID19, the organizers have the best interest of our community members and are closely monitoring an ever-changing situation. CDC and state guidelines will be implemented at all times. The selection of the resort was based on the ample space it provides for maintenance of social distancing measures.
In addition to social distancing, abundant masking and sanitizing stations, food arrangements will be outside so attendees/exhibitors can safely eat on the venue’s lakeside deck.
